Between colette and Japan, it's been a love story from the start. It was therefore natural to translate into music such a strong link with an album called "colette in the air, Paris - Tokyo." This CD proposes fifteen songs, half of them Japanese and the rest French, like a flying bridge connecting the two countries, or like a rainbow joining the two cultures. colette unearthed authentic nuggets of Japanese music in the "natsu melo" style (nostalgic song of the seventies), and in the deep house or pop kawaii style. On the French side, the new electro scene is well represented, but with also one or two trendy sweet pop songs to pepper up the lot. Not unlike a boiling musical Ramen (japanese soup), this selection crosses styles and periods as one mixes ingredients, to extract the tastiest flavours. "colette in the air" is to be enjoyed at a 30 000 feet altitude between stratospheric softness and suprasonic speed. This selection is signed by DJ clement, talent scout in charge of music at colette's, and the graphics are by Sophie Toporkoff. Limited edition of 300 copies for colette, 1200 for ANA.
